Winter Solstice 2017 – Reflection and Intention

Recently while hiking through the woods near my home in Connecticut I was reflecting on this year and thinking about what I was intending for 2018. I do this every year and it serves me well!

I want to encourage you to use these remaining days of 2017 to get clear on what you want, to write them out and be very specific.  Ask yourself how do you want to feel in this New Year?  What do you want to accomplish?  How do you want to show up for yourself, your loved ones and your community?

And….the Winters Solstice is tomorrow, Thursday, December 21, 2017.  It marks the shortest day of the year and the longest night.  In many cultures it is noted as a time to celebrate the gradual return of the light. It asks us to think about what area of your life or behavior or situation has kept you in the dark?
